I have been a volunteer with The Ottawa Cancer Foundation for over three years as a member of the Board of Directors. What drove me to volunteer is like so many of us, cancer has touched my life. My family dealt with the impact of cancer completely alone. It warms my heart that The Ottawa Cancer Foundation has created a community within the Cancer Hub for cancer patients, caregivers and family members to come together and navigate this devastating disease with support, so no other family has to feel the way my family did. You donation will be used to support the Community Cancer Hub and provide non-medical assistance to the family and those diagnosed with cancer in our community, at no cost to them.
