Story
My cousin, Kennedy, and my Uncle Matt have been affected by Colitis. It has not been an easy journey for them, in some aspects it has been life changing.
I love them both dearly and want to raise awareness for the charity who supports them. So, I am joining my cousin Kennedy and her team to walk 9 miles round Rutland Water on 5th May; the Bluebell Walk 2024 event is organized by Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
I am reaching out to you with gratitude in my heart, asking for your support in reaching my fundraising goal of £150.
Your contribution will directly impact the lives of individuals living with Colitis by supporting vital research, improving access to treatment, and raising awareness about this often misunderstood disease.
An estimated 500,000 people in the UK are living with this lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. And the real number could be almost double that. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they’re not alone. The Crohn’s and Colitis charity is working tirelessly to improve diagnosis and treatment, and to fund research into a cure; to raise awareness and to give people hope, comfort, and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.
This event is not just about walking, it's about coming together as a community to support those who are affected by Crohn’s and Colitis.
Together, let's make a difference! Join me in supporting Crohn’s & Colitis UK by making a donation today.
