The East Devon Pebblebed Heaths are amongst the most highly regarded conservation sites in Europe. We also manage and maintain the Otter Estuary, a site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of the fine saltmarsh habitat it supports. Our primary aim is to steward the Pebblebed Heaths and Otter Estuary for the benefit of its wildlife and to promote public enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of these unique habitats.
