About us

A king was buried in a 90-foot ship at Sutton Hoo, across the river from Woodbridge, in Suffolk. The ship was discovered in 1939 but not much remained, just the impressive imprint of a ghost in the sand. Many of the artefacts have been reconstructed, but not the ship, so we are putting that right.
