We're embarking on a journey into the great unknown; 6,000 miles across deserts and mountains, crossing rivers, gorges, valleys and timezones to reach exotic foreign lands with unusual names like 'Ulaanbaatar'. AKA - doing the Mongol Rally.

If you don't know, The Mongol Rally is a bunch of (slightly tapped) people driving random routes from Prague to Mongolia (about 6,000 miles) in old bangers to raise money for various causes. In total we'll be crossing about 23 countries in 30ish days.
The car I selected was chosen because it was THE cheapest 1-litre car within 50 miles of my house that had an MOT for more than 6 months. She's an 18 year old Micra and we have lovingly named her 'Rosie'. Rosie has already covered 99,000 miles...So - 6,000+ miles across deserts, rivers and gravel tracks, in summer in what is basically an 18 year old rolling greenhouse... with no A/C... should be a walk in the park.
£500 has to be raised for Cool Earth and I have chosen Doctors Without Borders as my second. I'd love to hit £2,500 so pick your favourite & please give generously. If you'd like, you can follow our progress here:
