250 Miles 24 hours and 16 happy faces (maybe not)
2 Wheels 1 Life is a way of raising money for bikers, by bikers.
Basically a few of us as motorcyclists and casual mountain or road riders have been influenced in many ways by the accidents and injuries suffered by our passion over the years and the Air Ambulance have been there selflessly to pick up the pieces on numerous occasions.
The most recent influence in our lives has been a motorcycle accident involving a very good friend of ours back on Easter Saturday of this year.
Without going into too much detail Alan Brigg was riding with other friends from this group and a vehicle pulled out and hit his motorcycle head on, both air ambulances came to his aid, quite possibly saving his life, and he is now in Preston Hospital with some very severe injuries on the long road to recovery.
Because of this an ever growing number of us are taking up the challenge of cycling from Leeds to London in 24 hours to raise as much money as possible for this invaluable service.
This is only the basic page outline at the moment so watch this space for updates, ways of getting involved and supporting us and everyone else out there that needs the Air Ambulance.
Due to Keiron being a little thick we are now rasing for both the Great North and Yorkshire Air Ambulance so please try to spread the dontations
