Originally a drunken bet, the "yeard" evolved into something positive.
The mission was simple: Don't shave for a year. Close friends offered money for it, and it was then realized this could rake in some cash for some good causes.
The beard officially comes off on the 1st of December. (Location to be confirmed!)
The two charities chosen are:
"UK Autism Foundation"
and
"RSPCA Derby Branch"
Both Charities are close to my heart, and both need the money.
Please donate (Even just the value of a drink) to both causes. I think for all of the hassle I've been given by TSA in American airports, and the large amount of laughs had at my expense it’s a good deal!
There is a pledge sheet at work with a large amount of money on it. This will be split 66/33 to "UK Autism Foundation" and "RSPCA Derby Branch"
