Snowdon Challenge

A mixed team of Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) firefighters and International Search and Rescue Team (ISAR) members have vowed to push Vicki Griffiths up the highest mountain in Wales on Friday 6 September.

The 33-year-old broke her back and damaged her spinal cord at the gym in March 2017 when she was a member of the on-call crew at Birchwood Fire Station in Warrington.

Vicki has chosen the Fire Fighters Charity and Classrooms in the Clouds to be the recipients of any money raised.

The Fire Fighters Charity, the UK’s leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families, and Classrooms in the Clouds, which support sustainable education for Nepalese children in the poorest regions of Nepal.

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
