After raising a phenomenal £90,101.59 for Teenage Cancer Trust over the last year, Coleg Cambria is proud to have adopted Macmillan Cancer Support as their charity for 2015-2016.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity that’s a source of support, helping with all the things that people affected by cancer want and need. It’s not only patients who live with cancer, the charity also help carers, families and communities.
The charity has millions of supporters, professionals, volunteers, campaigners and people affected by cancer. The support the charity gives to those affected doesn’t just include nurses, therapists and other specialist health care professionals, it gives so much more than medical help; from experts on the end of the phone and advisers about benefits to volunteers that can give a hand with the everyday things and campaigners pushing for better cancer care.
