Team GITBO consists of Adam Muir, Alice Gordon, Andrew Tippet, Charli Tippet, Dan Blomfield, Danny Clark, Jake Durbin and Robbie Greenaway. We will be taking part in the Tough Mudder UK (http://toughmudder.co.uk/events/south-eastmidlands/south-east-midlands-2012-course-map/) on the 12th of May, 2012.
The Tough Mudder is (as the name suggests) one of the all round toughest challenges (if not THE toughest) that the UK currently offers, with a gruelling 12 mile cross country run over and through Mud and various strength and morale sapping obstacles such as a crawl through stinging nettles, 12 foot high walls, swimming through underwater tunnels (in murky ice cold water), running through eletric wires and through fire. Real Fire.
We are not asking you to donate money for us to do something simple (Moustache growers!) or enjoyable (Parachuters!), instead we will endure extreme physical and mental pain (Just training for this event will be a feat in itself.) for the sole purpose of raising money for some excellent causes, something that cannot happen without your support. Whilst we fully understand that not everyone has disposible income to throw away, we are not asking for you all to put in big donations of £50, £20 or even £5. Anything you can spare from pennies to pounds would be more than appreciated by us and those that will truely benefit from your money.
So please have a look at the links below (under "Team members") choose a Charity that best suits your passion (although they are all in equal need of your support) and donate as much as you can!
