Hello Everyone! This coming September (the 18th to be precise) a team of Heerema Hartlepool Limited (HHL) employees in conjunction with BP will be participating in the BUPA Great North Run Event! This will be a gruelling challenge covering 13.1 miles from Newcastle/Gateshead to South Shields including 54,000 runners, it's Bupa's 31st great north run with a fantastic atmosphere, dedication, passion and fun. This is most iconic half-marathon on the planet and it will be Live on BBC television and BBC Radio 5 Live. The cause that the HHL / BP team will be running for is a very well deserved cause called Cancer Research UK which is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
