Each year at ION Edinburgh we nominate a charity to support and through a series of events we aim to reach our fundraising target.
This year Gavin Jamieson has nominated Finding Your Feet. Here is Gavin's story...
I’m really pleased that the company has chosen Finding Your Feet as the charity for us to support this year. The charity is a Scottish charity which helps people who have been affected by amputation. This means a lot to me as Corinne, the founder of this charity, is a friend of mine who sadly lost both her hands and feet following an illness back in 2013. She and her brother came up with the idea for the charity while she was stuck in her hospital bed recovering from her ordeal to help others in similar situation. Her chosen name for the charity reflects the good humour with which she approaches all things in life.
