On the 22nd March, 2014, we will walk a mile in high heels in aid of Oxfam's get together which celebrates international women's day every year. This event celebrates the social, political and economic achievements of women whilst also focusing world attention on areas which require further action; especially gender inequality and poverty.
Our team aims to raise £2000. The money raised will help provide education to girls , support women who are small scale farmers, provide training for midwives to stop women and children dying in childbirth, build latrines and hand-washing facilities and set up Health Clubs for women.
