Two Engineers, a Chemist, and a Geologist take on the challenge, armed with penguin stamped duct-tape, cable ties and a geological hammer....what can go wrong?
Whats going on?
It is known as the Mongol Rally and consists of driving approximately 10,000 miles across Europe, Central Asia, Russia and Mongolia in Brunhilde the ex-Soviet 1L Barkas B1000 to reach the finish line in Ulaanbataar Mongolia! All in the name of charity.
To complete this challenge we will have to navigate such places maybe even somewhere outside of Essex. All we have is our car and our team-mates, with breakdowns inevitable and all we can do is bring out the hammers in hope that knocking and kicking the car will get it back on the road.
This is a charity focused event and the reason behind our madness are charities we feel have touched our lives and deserve to be given something back.
