Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. We are a group of 8 who each have overcome our own battles through bowel related illness that have resulted in us having major bowel surgery and having a stoma (Colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy).
We have come together through our mutual passion for living an active lifestyle and particularly our love for running. Meeting through Ostomy Lifestyle we aim to work together in true team spirit to complete the 24 hour Thunder run on 26-2th July 2014.
What we aim to achieve:
We want to share with the world that having a stoma should never be a barrier to leading a full and active life. We hope to promote the wellbeing of anyone who has had, or may need to have a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy operation, and to inspire people living with a stoma, enabling them to live their life to its full potential.
