On the 11th September 2015 we will be cycling in aid of two charities. The H8 ward at Salford Royal Hospital and The Haematology Unit at the Christie Hospital. This follows the success of The 2014 Big Bike Ride.
Staff at RBS Invoice Finance are completing the 20 mile Monsal Trail in the Peak District. This year we will be cycling for two charities close to our hearts.
Firstly for Salford Royal Hospital, for the loving care our friend and colleague Tom Culpan received prior to him sadly passing away in January 2013. Secondly, The Christie Hospital, one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe. This was where Roger Nicholson was treated for leukaemia, but lost his battle a few weeks ago against this cruel disease.
The staff at The Christie and Salford Royal are the epitome of Guardian Angels.
We are asking that each person taking part in The Big Bike Ride raises a minimum of £50.00 by way of sponsorship; any contribution over this will be gratefully received.
The aim is to have a great day and to raise as much money as possible.
