Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page.

Reeves, one of the South East’s leading Accountancy and Financial Service firms, is delighted to announce that a group of Partners have successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge and raised in excess of £5,000, climbing the UK’s highest mountains in aid of each of the firm’s four nominated charities for 2014.

The team of eight Partners from across the firm, led by Managing Partner Nigel Fright, included Tim Maakestad, Mike Dyer, Jennifer Williamson, Richard Heasman, Michael Cook, Simon Linley and James Peach.

The Reeves Partners battled against the elements, across day and night, climbed around ten thousand feet and walked almost 26 miles to conquer the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.  This involved scaling the formidable Ben Nevis, Scotland on day one, completing Scafell Pike in the Lake District overnight, to finish at the steep slopes of Mount Snowdon in Snowdonia National Park, Wales.

Nigel Fright, Reeves Managing Partner said, “This Challenge really pushed our levels of fitness and fortitude to the limit and put the preceding months of training and preparation to the test.  Making the commitment to train together around our busy work schedules helped us to understand the team’s strengths and weaknesses, which enabled us to work so well together when things got tough.  Climbing Snowdon totally in the dark up and down with strong mist and only four feet visibility is a fond memory for us all now”.

The charities to benefit from the completion of the Challenge are; Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice, St Luke’s Centre, and Crawley Open House.

Nigel commented, “We are incredibly proud to have participated in this Challenge for the Firm’s four chosen charities and so thankful to all who have sponsored the Reeves team in the pursuit of raising funds for these important causes that make such positive differences within the Reeves office communities.  Reeves contribute significantly in fundraising throughout the year in various activities and time commitment support.  The Firm will extend this level of commitment into the next five years of our CSR programme”.
