We've joined together to raise money for Breat Cancer Care in memory of our friend Fay, who died in June this year. She will always be missed.
When we think of Fay, we think of happiness. Fay was silly and generous, outrageous and elegant, and everyone who knew her knows that it’s sh!t that she’s gone.
So we're doing a small thing to try to support the work that might one day help prevent people like Fay - and her sister Zoe, and her mum Jan and her godmother Suzie – from dying of cancer. And that’s why we're riding to Brighton, to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
We say small. It's not small. It’s a huge, epic effort. It’s exactly the sort of epic effort that deserves every penny of your generous sponsorship.
Or if not, then at least Breast Cancer Care deserves your sponsorship, for the work they are doing in trying to beat that horrible disease.
So please give generously, because today, as we're writing this, just happens to be Fay’s birthday, and if the world was right, she would be here drinking wine with her loved ones. And we would not be contemplating riding 60 blooming miles on a pedal bicycle.
