Through the operations of Grundfos in Johannesburg SACRED became acutely aware of the extreme poverty and hardship affecting the local people (including the children of Grundfos own local employees). SACRED uses the funds it raises to provide education, training and housing, doing all it can to break the poverty cycle.We have recently completed huge projects, such as the feeding programme, which build vegetable patches and kitchens so that children would receive a proper meal in return for attending their lessons.
