We are all taking part in the Nuts Challenge on 4th March 2017, to raise awareness and funding for Child Rescue Nepal. The Nuts Challenge is a 7k military style obstacle course with over 100 manmade and natural obstacles!
There are more people living in slavery today than in any other time in history, and a quarter of them are children.
Founded in 1999, Child Rescue Nepal have now rescued hundreds of Nepalese children who have been trafficked or displaced into India - including many who were sold into Indian circuses and forced to work as performers. They now care for these children, educating, feeding and clothing them, and working towards supporting them into adulthood through vocational training support and further education. Wherever safe and possible, their long-term aim is to reunite children with their families or extended families.
Our aim is to raise enough money to fully fund one of their small family-based homes in Kathmandu for six months. The money we raise will pay for the roof over their heads, hot food, pastoral care and counselling.
