As a family, we were affected by a stroke in January when our cousin Mark suffered a stroke one month after his 18th birthday.
Mark was making fantastic progress after his stroke, however sadly passed away on 8th September.
We are running the 15k not only in memory of our beloved cousin, but also in support of the wonderful friends Mark made during his time in hospital, who have also been affected by strokes.
The Stroke Association provide fantastic support and advice for stroke victims and their families.
The 15k takes place in Hyde Park on 16th October, and will be a challenge to us both, training is well under way. Any support you can give us as a team will go a long way.
