In support of Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity’s tea party campaign, Time for Tea, star footballers from the 4 local South Yorkshire clubs, Sheffield Wednesday FC, Sheffield United FC, Rotherham FC and Barnsley FC, will come together for a very special cake-off competition on 14th April.
Which team will win the cake off? It is down to the fans to vote by making a donation on their team's page!
Every donation, however big or small, will make a huge difference to the lives of thousands of cancer patients in our region.
The team who raises the most is the Time for Tea Cake Off winner!
The event, which will be MC’d by Skysports presenter David Garrido, will see the players put their culinary skills to the test and present their very best cake attempt beside rival players from fellow teams.
Now in its 3rd year, Time for Tea is an initiative which encourages people to host or attend a tea party to raise vital funds for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity across the month of May.
Whether it’s a tea party at home, in the community, or at work, the cancer charity is inviting supporters from across the region to pop the kettle on and bake some buns or cakes throughout the month of May.
