Zoo Keepers from Blackpool Zoo are taking on the three peak challenge, alongside fellow keepers from other zoos across the UK!
We are Climbing for the World Land Trust.
This challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in each of Scotland, England and Wales and driving in between them all within 24 hours!
The first part of the challenge involves the highest of the three mountains, Ben Nevis in Scotland with an elevation of 1344m above sea level.
Second in the challenge is Scafell Pike in the Lake District. At 978m this is the lowest summit of the three, however, with its relentlessly steep ascent it is arguably the hardest of all, and we shall be climbing through the night.
The final part of our challenge will be early in the morning and Snowdon in Wales, with an elevation of 1085m.
