We are a group of retired friends who choose to walk most Wednesday mornings. As well as catching up with each other's news, we enjoy the scenery, the nature and the fresh air. Our walk normally ends with a well earned plate of soup.
On our walks, we have chatted about raising money for a charity. Ideas were suggested ; a book of our walks including good soup stops; a calendar of us on our walks......both ideas put on the back burner and the simplest but most challenging idea taken forward......a walk around Loch Leven Heritage Trail.
Anne, Cathy, Joan, Monica, Yvonne and Gillian will be embarking on the walk with some walking the thirteen mile circuit with others setting their own challenge and walking part of the route. However all will be raising money for Fife Women's Aid. Although we plan to walk on Wednesday 12th September, if it is incredibly inclement, we will embark on our walk on the next suitable dry day.
Although this page has only Gillian in the team - all of the above ladies are part of it. The money raised will be donated on behalf of us all. THANK YOU!
