This year, to celebrate Avon’s 125th anniversary, we're taking on the biggest fundraising event Avon UK has ever seen!
We are so excited to launch Get Fit for BCAM where we will virtually run, walk, swim, crawl from Stratford-upon-Avon to New York City, which in case you're wondering, is a total of 3,387 miles.
Why Stratford-upon-Avon? Well, it's symbolic, as you know, our founder was so inspired after a visit to this beautiful English town that he named our wonderful company after it. We felt it was only fitting to start our journey from here and bring it back home.
The whole of the UK team are in training right now in a bid to raise at least £125,000 in our 125th anniversary year.
I have committed to run at least 125 miles during the month of October - I'm in training and feeling pretty confident but I need that extra boost from all of my friends from around the world.
I am proud to work for a Company that truly does change lives in so many ways and this is my moment to give back in a big way with the entire UK team.
The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade started in the UK almost 20 years ago and I have had the privilege to see it travel across all the markets that I have worked in and it makes me so proud. The Crusade really does make a difference and this October, I have the opportunity to go that extra mile... well, 125 miles to be exact!
