Barker Storey Matthews is pleased to announce that on the 26th of June 2015, 7 of our staff will be embarking on the National Three Peaks Challenge in order to fundraise for two very important charities; Prostate Cancer UK and Sue Ryder' Thorpe Hall Hospice.
Our overall fundraising target is £7,500 which we have divided between the two charities with a separate page for each.
The National Three Peaks Challenge consists of the climbing and descent of Scotland, England and Wales’s highest mountains, totalling 26 miles on foot and far more in a vehicle all within a 24 hour time frame. These mountains are; Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in the Snowdonia National Park of Wales.
Our group is comprised of a wide range of ages and walking abilities all of whom are hard at work training for this task. Our team participating consists of; Alan Matthews, Richard Jones, Ben Green, Martin Hughes, Simon Burton, Cameron Park & Sam White.
We are also reaching our 25th Birthday at Barker Storey Matthews and as part of these celebrations we wanted to embark on a challenge to raise money for these charities. We hope you will be able to help us to achieve our fundraising target.
Thank you,
From the team here at Barker Storey Matthews
