We are a group of Psychology students that have joined together to raise money and awareness for Karma Nirvana which is a charity that supports victims and survivors of forced marriage and honour based abuse. Founded by Jasvinder Kaur 1993, it had since expanded and developed from a local to regional project to now being a national to international project.
To help raise awareness and money for the charity we are running a "the good, the bad and the ugly" makeup day. For every £5 that we raise a teacher will be made over or made under.
They run the UK's first helpline dedicated to supporting victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse fit both men and women.
On the right you can see our team fundraising target. Any donation that you give big or small will help us to reach our goal.
Our goals are to raise awareness and money for this cause. So if you decide that you do not want to make a donation we ask that you help us to raise awareness by spreading the word about what we are doing.
