We are Simon Storey, Struan Marshall, Dave Lakeland, Chris Taylor, Bob Barba, David Jackson, Barry Cotton and Tony Hough.
We are taking on this epic challenge in memory of Lawrence Sherriffs, a friend who some of us used to play Rugby with. loz suddenly collapsed & died in 2013 of an undiagnosed heart condition called 'Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy', he was just 41 years old.
We will be cycling from Edinburgh to Belfast to Dublin to Cardiff to London. 650 miles in 5 days. The hardest part of the challenge will be on the last day when ride from Cardiff to London, 175 miles in one day!
We are raising money for Cardiomyopathy UK in memory of Loz to help them research this disease and support those effected by it.
We would like to thank Northgate Vehicle Hire who are supplying a minibus as a support vehicle.
We are also riding in memory of Kate Vanloo who was tragically killed in a cycling accident in early January, Kate rode with some of us in 2014 from John o Groats to Lands End and will be sorely missed. Kate will forever be in our hearts.
Please give what you can, we all really appreciate your support.
