Thank you for visiting the MAD MAKEOVER team page. We need your help to turn a storage area into a children's bedroom and sitting area in just 2 days!
On Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July 2015, we will be taking on this challenge. We have 22 people and two days to convert the house but we need your help. We have some funds for a basic makeover but your donations can make it an extra special and wonderful environment for the children.
We’ll be taking great care to ensure the House is equipped for children with special needs and is also comfortable for Mama, her family and the carers who will be working with the children.
Some of the things we need to make a great home for the children include: Paint for walls, fabric for covers and curtains, wood for shelves, hand rails, table and chairs, mats, sheets and duvet covers, new seats for the toilets, a new security gate and a wall heater. However, if we can raise enough funds we can also get the roof sealed and a solar powered hot water to make the house environmentally friendly as well.
Part of the challenge will also be to continue the children’s normal programme so staff and volunteers will be working in teams to keep everything going at a great pace.
