PLEASE SPONSOR ME TO SWIM ACROSS THE FIRTH OF FORTH ON SATURDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER... nothing against the swanky new Queensferry crossing but I am raising money for a great cause. Together with some friends, I am braving the chilly Firth and swimming from Crammond to Aberdour - 6.5km if we swim in a straight line (which is highly unlikely!). Please help me raise as much money as possible for Lupus UK. My mum has suffered from Lupus for many years so this is a charity close to my heart. Lupus is a systemic autoimmune disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. It is a debilitating and much under-researched disease and the charity would greatly benefit from your support.
