Over the next few months, teams from Barclays US and UK will compete to raise money in Light The Night, an exciting event that will help to beat blood cancer on both sides of the Atlantic.
In 2012 Barclays globally raised $864,418 to become the #1 fundraising team in the history of Light The Night! For 2013 the team is on a million dollar mission, hoping to raise $1,000,000 (more than £600,000!) in support of blood cancer research internationally.
This year, the two biggest blood cancer charities in the world, the UK's Leukaemia & Lymphoma Researchand America's Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are joining forces in a unique international fundraising partnership to bring this successful American fundraising event to London. Barclays UK teams will take part in a series of fundraising activities culminating in a walk, celebration party and auction on 2nd October.
