As a family completed the National 3 Peaks Challenge over the Diamond Jubilee weekend. That's climbing Ben Nevis (4885 ft in Scotland - 9 hours), Scafell Pike (3400 ft in England - 8 hours) and Snowdon (3726 ft in Wales - 6 hours) and a lot of driving (as we live in Dorset). Lucinda, Daisy (10) and Alex (8) had not done it before (in fact Daisy and Alex had never climbed a mountain) so it was a real challenge. The picture shows the white out conditions near the top of Ben Nevis.
The children selected their own charities for their own reasons - Daisy: The World Wildlife Fund and Alex: Help for Heroes. Tom and Lucinda are supporting the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund. We would appreciate if you would consider sponsoring us - especially the children.
