Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal

Three teams of rowers from Durham Amateur Rowing Club are taking part in the Great Tyne Row on September 2nd 2017. Two of our members have made a successful recovery after suffering a stroke, and taking up rowing has been beneficial to their recovery and continued wellbeing. Each of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke so we have decided to  raise funds for the Stroke Association to help improve the lives of people affected by stroke.

The Great Tyne Row is a 25km row on the River Tyne starting at Newburn and finishing at Tynemouth.

We request your kind donations to the Stroke Association to aid its work to support stroke survivors to make the best recovery they can.

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
