I'm raising money for two charities both very close to me; Cancer Research UK in memory of my Dad who passed away in 2000 from Cancer of the Oesophagus, and to also raise funds to help cancer sufferers too - my wife had a mastectomy as a result of pre-cancerous cells. Thankfully she did not develop the illness however the threat always remains so the fight goes on to find a cure.
The other charity is the Bone Cancer Research Trust in memory of my niece Emma Callar, who sadly lost her fight for life in 2003 aged only 19. This year would have been her 30th Birthday so it seemed a good time to raise funds for this much needed cause. I'm hoping that along with my musician friends we will be able to give you all a fun and enjoyable day of top music entertainment on Sunday 1st December 2013 and with your donation to sponsor me for playing drums for 12 hours throughout the day you can really help us smash our target of £1000.
I also need donations of musicans who are prepared to give up an hour or so of their day to come along and join me on stage for a Jam session - otherwise 12 hours of listening to drums on their own will be very boring!! Please contact me if you can help.
