After our mum, Wendy Bridgstock, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease last September, she has received a huge amount of support from these two charities. Ellie and Neil felt that they should do something to raise money to thank them for their support. Both Ellie and Neil are "athletic",so doing a 10k run wouldn't cut it. It needed to be something serious, a real challenge. Hence this challenge was born - to walk all 127 miles of the Leeds - Liverpool canal, non stop.
