Fearless fundraisers abseil for Canine Partners

Team photo

It's one giant leap for a team of fearless fundraisers as they take on Britain's highest freefall abseil.

The once in a lifetime challenge will help raise cash for charity Canine Partners to train amazing assistance dogs which transform the lives of disabled people.

The dogs are trained to help with everyday tasks including picking up anything someone might drop, opening doors and even loading a washing machine. This helps boost people's independence and confidence.

It costs £5,000 to purchase and train a puppy, another £5,000 for its advanced training at one of the charity's special training centres and another £10,000 to cover costs throughout its partnership with a disabled person.

Therefore every penny counts towards making a big impact to someone's life.

Remember: donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
