The Felix Byam Shaw 50km bike ride
Felix was a truly special person and touched the hearts of so many around him. He sadly died from meningitis while on holiday with his friends and I had the idea to do a charity bike ride in his memory and was hoping to get a few friends to do it with me. I was amazed by how many kids readily volunteered and I thank you all. The bike ride will be 50km long and I am hoping that I and all those who do the ride will achieve our target of £2000.
We are all going to miss Felix so much for he was such a wonderful, caring and thoughtful person.
The charity supported will be The Meningitis Research Foundation who funds research to prevent meningitis and to improve survival rate and outcomes. The Foundation promotes education and awareness to reduce death and disability, and supports people affected by the disease.
