Thanks for visiting our Glitter Beard Legends fundraising page.
All team members are kind sirs that have chosen to put their beards or stubble to good use by having them glitter-fied on the 2nd of July.
Sponsorship money that will go directly to Alzheimer’s Research UK via just giving to help with finding a cure for this life shattering illness. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, and funds world-class pioneering scientists to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia.
There are 2 options for fundraising. Our Bearded Legends will either attend our Glitter-Beard-Athon at 2pm-3.30pm on the 2nd of July at our marquee Northampton Town Festival (The Racecourse, NN1 4LG) or they will participate at home by submitting a photo of their very own glittery beard creation.
Option 1) For those beardy legends that are unable to attend the event on the 2nd of July due to logistics or other commitments but still wish to assist with fundraising for Alzheimers Research UK, they are able to participate by glittering their beards themselves and submitting photos to our event page on Facebook. There will be a prize of beardy goodies for the best photo submitted on the 2nd of July.
Option 2) For bearded legends you would like to participate in our glitter- beard-athon- fundriastravaganza, they will be coming along to our marquee at Northampton Town Festival on the 2nd of July 2016 (location details to be provided). Their beard will be glitterfied by our team of glitter fairies. The event will be covered by press on the day and we have a photo-shoot taking place for everyone that participates. Various colours of glitter and beard oil will be provided on the day.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
