We are a group of 11 6th formers at Lampton School who are working with Habitat for Humanity GB and Mozambique to raise the money to go and build houses with communities in the Gaza Province in Mozambique this summer.
Our team target is £37,500! This is a whopping amount of money but it has been done before and we will do it again!
This money covers a range of different things from the tools and materials used to build each house to a donation to the Habitat for Humanity programme in Mozambique. Some of the money also covers our travel and subsitence costs when we are in Mozambique.
Our school aims to send a group each year. We put in a lot of time and effort into fundraising outside of school. This year we have a range of products available for sale made from material brought in Xai-Xai market by our teacher.
