What are we doing and why? On May 10th 2014, we will be taking part in the Hadrian's Wall Trekathon, a 26 mile 'yomp' up into the Pennines. We're not quite up for running a marathon, but this walk will take around 12 hours, so we'll need to be just as fit as a marathon runner (well almost!).
The Eve Appeal was set up to help save women's lives by funding groudbreaking research into the 5 gynaecological cancers. (www.eveappeal.org.uk for more information)
Our name: Most of us live in Herefordshire but Honeys was the only name we could come up which went with Herefordshire, which wasn't along the lines of 'Harlets' or 'Hookers'. None of us make honey as far as I'm aware.
