Our son Daniel Cruse age 19 sadly died of melanoma skin cancer on 3rd July 2012.Sadly his cancer was to advanced and agressive for him to overcome despite various treatments and trials that the Royal Marsden were able to provide .
It is for this reason that we are fund raising in Dans memory so that we can help the Marsden and their research unit to find a cure for melanoma skin cancer which is the most dangerous form and is on the increase sadly amongst young adults.
We want them to prevent this in the futher by finding a cure
We will never forget the devastation that we all felt when we were given the news and how we prayed for a cure and the ups and downs of new treatments and failed treatments and the day they told us there was no more treatment available for Dan and the pain of losing a child when he died
We want to help prevent this happening again

We have various things happening .....Our friend Rachel has just run a marathon and Darren (Dans dad is doing a London to Brighton bike ride and Dans friends are doing another party fundraising on Dans birthday
