We, Adelaine; Haylee; Margaret; Sharon; Stacey and Jannette have worked with and known Carrol for some time and have each been inspired by her determination to raise awareness and funds for the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund following the very sudden and shocking death of her husband Keith to this disease last year. Mesothelioma is pronounced mee-so-thee-lee-oma. Pictured here from left to right are Sharon; Margaret; Adelaine & Haylee and we have committed to climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland, on Friday 30th August 2013 to raise funds for this charity.
MKMRF is a small charity operating under the umbrella of the British Lung Foundation, who's aim is to promote better awareness and fund research into this horrible and very neglected cancer.
We've named our team "Keith's Angels" for two reasons .... 1. because we are a ridiculously gorgeous bunch of women (just like Charlie's Angels) and 2. because we want to do all we can to help the researchers find out more about this disease to help others in the future.

* 100,000 people alive today will die from Mesothelioma
* More people die of asbestos related disease than those in traffic accidents
* Someone dies every 5 hours from Mesothelioma
* 100,000 tons of asbestos still in buildings today
* At present no preventative treatment or cure
