Each year a team of intrepid Knight Knox runners enter the Great Manchester Run to raise money for a good cause.
Last year the team of 14 raised £3,000 for the Alzheimer's Society. 2016 will see our biggest team yet with 23 runners, so we've upped their target to a lofty £4,000!
Our fundraising efforts focus on children's charities this year, and the team has nominated two fantastic causes: Tommy's, the baby charity and the Legacy Rainbow House.

Tommy's, the baby charity
Tommy's funds medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, and provides an information service about health in pregnancy.
The Legacy Rainbow House
Rainbow House offers rehabilitation, education and fun to children, young people and adults with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, brain injury & genetic conditions via Conductive Education. CE is a specialist approach that teaches the person to lead a more active & independent life.
