This November, the four of us are teaming together to raise money in aid of Mind and the Movember foundation.
Us lot (David, Adam, Ben and Aled) will be doing a few things this month to fundraise in support of these boss charities, three of us will be growing out some luscious staches, which I imagine will look like Henry Cavill's, and three of us will also be taking part in a Movember 10km run in Liverpool.
We've chosen to target these two charities as deteriorating mental health in young men is a crisis that the Government is failing to combat. Suicide is the leading cause of death among those between the ages of 20-34 years of age and men make up over 75% of suicides in the UK.
Some of our lives have been affected by male suicide, David lost a family member to depression, as well as some of us facing our own mental health struggles daily. That is why we've chosen Mind as one of the two charities to raise money for this November!
We will also be donating to the foundation which started it all, The Movember Foundation, which work to combat prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health issues and the high suicide rate within men.
Maybe a 10km run doesn't sound too much, but it's a bit of a challenge for us, we all do our own form of sports but none of us are natural runners, except for David as that's the one sport he's good at, but he has injuries in both legs, so it's gonna be an interesting run.
