We are 3rd year Events management students at Liverpool Hope University, who are organising a non-for-profit charity event as part of our final assessment.
The event is taking place on Tuesday 11th February, in the student union venue, 'Our Place', on Hope Campus. We are planning a fun, dating theme, based on the popular TV show 'Blind Date', which we hope will draw in the crowds and raise lots of money for our chosen charities; The Brain Tumour Charity and The British Heart Foundation. Both of which are very dear to us.
Along with entertainment and refreshments, we will be holding a raffle during the evening, with amazing prizes to be won, kindly donated by local businesses, including: Haydock Racecourse, Virgin Trains, FACT cinema, David Lloyd Leisure Clubs and many more!
