ALL of us have been affected by Cancer - either personally ,or, as a result of this awful illness affecting those closest to us .
My beautiful friend Elaine Higgott and I applied for tickets to Peter Kay “Dance for Life “ 2 years ago but they were sold out as we were late applying .
By the following year Elaine had been diagnosed with cancer which turned out be terminal and we sadly lost her 1 year ago .
We had been friends for 42 years - we shared happiness and tears. Through the various events in our lives , including the wonderful gifts of children and grandchildren.
Elaine and I always loved to dance and enjoy music . From 80’ s disco to Salsa and pop music we danced through the decades .
So with my lovely niece Hollie we are going to dance for Elaine in our very own, (for one night, and one night only) DIY DANCE-A-THON!

We would like to ask all of our friends, family and loyal fans 😂 to donate whatever they feel they can .
We want to do all we can to increase the final donations for Cancer Research UK and continue the fight against cancer!
