Thanks for visiting Motor Boat & Yachting's fundraising page.
Some of us at the magazine have decided to join the legions of others growing a moustache – or, in Neil's case (far right), maintaining some upper lip hair of Wild West dimensions – to raise money for charity this month.
Since the Movember idea is to raise money for men's health charities, we've nominated The Institute for Cancer Research as one of the charities we're supporting. The ICR is also supported by the offical Movember movement.
But we've also nominated a nautical charity, Seafarers UK. This organisation provides grants to other seafaring charities which support anyone who served in the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy or worked in the fishing fleets. They support the seafarers themselves, but also their families and children.
We've set a goal of £1,000 – £500 for each charity. We'd love it if you could put your hand in your pocket for both great causes.
Left to right in the photo, we have: Stewart (Deputy Editor), Hugo (Editor), Jack (Technical Writer) and Neil (Art Editor).
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
