We did it! On June 14th 12pm, 16 riders set out on their 24 hour adventure. We rode through the night and through clouds of midges on some of the best mountain bike trails in North Wales to raise money for WKRS. We covered 124 km and climb 2680 metres in 25 1/2 hours.
WKRS have been raising money to provide international life experiences for their pupils. In return the pupils have raised money to fund development projects at international link schools in South Africa and India. Through the support of staff, pupils and parents the charity has funded groups travelling to and from the link schools for the last 6 years.
This latest challenge involves the hard work of school staff and enthusiastic local mountain bikers. They have been training since January for this long and tough challenge. They will be giving their all to complete the challenge so please support their cause.
