Mollie decided she wanted to raise some money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Winston's wish. The two charities being close to our hearts after the death of my partner Sam in 2014. We started our training in May and as a result several of her friends started to join us for walks. This soon grew and now what started out with Mollie wanting to climb Snowdon has turned into a fantastic team of her friends all wanting to raise money with her and support each other along the way! Nealy every week we have gone out as a team either walking locally or further afield. We have even climbed Peny Fan as part of the training! The children all aged between 8 and 10 haven't once moaned or not wanted to go, in fact they often ask when we are next going out! Words can't express how proud we are of these little people and what they are doing and not just for themselves. We will be walking up Snowdon on the 28th September then intend to do the full Sarsen Trail - Avebury to Stonehenge (26 miles) in May next year. The more encouragement and support the better!! In Mollies short life she’s had to deal with an awful lo and I really believe that by doing these walks, getting outside and having a such a fantastic team of friends behind her she has become a happier little girl. I am super proud of these little people wanting to give something back. For more information on both charities please see the following links: https://www.winstonswish.org
