One of Nev's cycling goals this year was to complete a 100-mile ride. Sadly, Nev passed away on 18 January, three days after suffering a heart attack while out on his bike. So, we as a family, along with many friends, have decided to do the ride for him – the Norwich 100, on Sunday 3 June. As the name suggests, this is a 100-mile ride, starting and ending in Norwich, taking in the beautiful Norfolk countryside and coast. Some will complete shorter distances of 25 and 50 miles while others will do the full 100 – all in his memory.
Nev was a huge supporter of the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance service and the British Heart Foundation. We have chosen these two charities on his behalf.
